We mapped buying intent to a small set of high-value service pages and shipped structured content with clear CTAs, local FAQs, and stronger internal links. The goal was not “more pages.” The goal was a cleaner path from service search to call.
The Challenge
The existing site had zero search visibility for high-intent keywords like "Minneapolis plumber," "emergency drain repair," or "water heater installation near me." There were no dedicated service pages, no structured data, and no internal linking strategy. Google had very little to crawl, and potential customers had very little reason to call.
On top of that, the site loaded slowly on mobile, the contact form was buried in the footer, and there was no Google Business Profile integration. The owner knew he was losing jobs to competitors who simply showed up higher in search results.
What We Did
We started with keyword research and competitor analysis to identify the highest-value service queries in the Minneapolis metro. From there, we built a focused new website with a clear information architecture designed around buyer intent.
- Created 8 targeted service pages, each optimized for a specific high-intent keyword cluster (drain cleaning, water heater repair, sewer line replacement, etc.)
- Added FAQ schema markup to every service page, earning rich snippet visibility in search results
- Built a strategic internal linking structure connecting service pages, location content, and the homepage
- Optimized and connected the Google Business Profile with consistent NAP data, service categories, and regular posts
- Implemented clear CTAs on every page — click-to-call buttons, inline contact forms, and urgency-driven copy
- Set up ongoing local SEO with monthly content updates and citation building across 40+ directories
